Teaching young children is a task that cannot be taken lightly. It is full of challenges, frustrations, and a big responsibilities. At the same time it is excited, wonderful, and joyful. I strongly believe that all children are capable of learning, if they have the proper motivation and the right cane of guidance.
In my classroom, I want student to feel like they are still at home, with the bright colors, a safe environment, and seeing my huge beautiful smile everyday. The students will have a freedom of their opinion and creativity. I will challenge students and watch them grow. Students should be able to recognize their like and dislike also their strengthens and weaknesses. After this have been mold in, the curriculum can shape each student's in the right way.
Helping students to use their minds, more then one one way and with challenges they will face. A great philosopher De Montaigne once said, “Since philosophy is the art which teaches us how lo live, and since children need to learn it as much as we do at other ages, why do we not instruct them in it?...But in the truth I know nothing about the philosophy of education except this: that the greatest and most important difficulty known to human learning seems to lie in that area which treats how to how to bring up children and how to educate them.” It is my duty to see that all my students are being challenge. They deserve my time and full attention in regards to their education.
As a future teacher, I remember to enjoy students and everything they have to offer. Sometime it can be a struggle, but I always are going to go forward for the my students. One of my hopes as a teacher is to install a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion of learning with them. Keep a positive attitude toward your students that is a key to successful learning.
